We are reviewing entries now. Winning artwork will be used in our outreach efforts and seen on posters, our website and social media. They'll also be featured on a million McDonald's bag stuffers, thanks to a partnership with Caspers Company McDonald's. And if playing an important role in our democracy weren't enough, Caspers Company is also donating $100 to the first place artist and $100 to his or her art class. Thank you to everyone who has submitted artwork!

The concept is simple, and powerful. Nonprofits recruit volunteers to be poll workers, and those volunteers donate their Election Day earnings to the nonprofit. Everybody wins with this program. We get terrific poll workers, nonprofits earn much-needed funds, and our community benefits from the work the nonprofits are doing.
Q: Can voters who are independent or not affiliated with a party choose to vote in either the Democratic or the Republican primary?
A: Florida has closed primaries, so you must be affiliated with a party to vote in that party's election. During the Presidential Preference Primary Election in March, only Democrats and Republicans will be voting.
Q: Are Vote By Mail ballots always counted?
A: Yes. By law, all Vote By Mail ballots are counted. In fact, they are the first votes we report on Election Night.
Q: Why does Hillsborough County publish voting material in English and Spanish?
A: Hillsborough County is a "covered jurisdiction" under the Language Minority Groups provision of the Voting Rights Act, so we are required by law to publish voting material in both English and Spanish.
