ABSENTEE BALLOT REQUESTTo request an absentee ballot online, read and follow the instructions carefully.
NOTE: Pursuant to Florida law, an absentee ballot request can be only made by the voter, or if directly instructed by the voter, a member of the voter's immediate family or legal guardian. Immediate family means the voter's spouse, parent, child, grandparent, siblings of or siblings of the voter's spouse or legal guardian.

A request for an absentee ballot to be mailed to a voter must be received no later
than 5:00 p.m. (E.S.T.) on the sixth (6th) day before the election.
Absentee ballots cannot be forwarded. Be sure you give the correct mailing address. If you are requesting an absentee ballot for more than one election and will be in a different location for each election, make a separate request for each election with the correct mailing address. If your legal residence or mailing address changes, please contact the Supervisor of Elections office.
Voted absentee ballots must be received by 7:00 p.m. on Election day at the Hillsborough County Center office of the Supervisor of Elections or at the Robert L. Gilder Elections Service Center. A VOTED BALLOT CANNOT BE ACCEPTED AT A POLLING PLACE
If you request and receive an absentee ballot and later decide to vote at the polls, please take your absentee ballot with you to be canceled at your polling place.
