Poll Watchers

If you would like to designate poll watchers for an election, you must complete the Poll Watcher Designation Form (DS-DE 125) and return it via email (to ewhite@hcsoe.org), mail or in person, so that it is in our office by the deadline. All poll watchers should review our Poll Watcher Guidelines before arriving at a voting location.

Campaign Signs 

For information regarding where campaign signs can be posted in Hillsborough County and the three municipalities, please reference the Campaign Signs Information Sheet. Important note: the law requires anyone who is going to dig (break ground) must first call Sunshine 811. Click here for more details and information regarding sign installation. 

No Solicitation Zones

100 ft. No Solicitation Zone Maps for every Early Voting site used in the 2018 elections can be found below. Updated maps utilizing the new 150 ft. distance for the upcoming 2020 election cycles coming soon.

There are several helpful publications, developed by the State Division of Elections, to help guide you through your candidacy. As a candidate, it is your responsibility review the Candidate and Treasurer Handbook and Florida Election Code, which will help guide you through your candidacy.

Please note: Florida has a very broad public records law. Voter registration applications and other written communications to or from the Supervisor of Elections are public records and are available to the public and media upon request unless the information is subject to a specific statutory exemption. Email addresses are also public records. If you do  not want your email address released in response to a public records request, please contact us by mail or phone, or visit us in person. To request public records, contact the communications department by emailing  voter@hcsoe.org or calling (813) 744-5900.
