On the Ballot

Democratic Presidential Preference Primary Sample Ballot

Republican Presidential Preference Primary Sample Ballot

Once your ballot has been mailed to our office, dropped in a ballot box, or inserted into a ballot scanning machine, your ballot has been cast and no replacements can be issued.

The names on the 2020 Republican and Democratic Presidential Preference Primary ballots were certified by the Secretary of State on December 11, 2019, as per FS 103.101 (3). Although some of the candidates on the ballot have reportedly suspended or ended their presidential campaigns, they did not formally withdraw by the state deadline, and votes for those candidates will be included in our election results.  For additional information on these and other federal and state candidates, click here. Florida holds closed primaries, so only Republicans and Democrats may vote in the Presidential Preference Primary. The deadline to select or change your political party affiliation for the Presidential Preference Primary was February 18, 2020.
