IMPORTANT TO KNOW:
Florida is a "closed primary" state. That means that only voters registered with a political party may vote in that party's Primary Election. You can change your party affiliation by submitting an updated Voter Registration Application at any time, but the change must be made 29 days before a Primary Election in order to be valid for that election. All registered voters, regardless of party affiliation, may vote on issues and nonpartisan races during a Primary Election. And your party does not affect your ballot for any election other than a Primary Election.

2018 Polling Location Changes
Every election, we have to change the locations of some polling places. We send voters updated voter information cards if their polling location has changed. The complete list of location changes for 2018 can be found here.
New Early Voting sites
Three new Early Voting sites are available to voters this year: Valrico Recreation Center, Northdale Recreation Center, and Port Tampa Community Center. Cyrus Greene Center is also replacing the C. Blythe Andrews Library as an Early Voting site while the library is being rebuilt. For a full list of our Early Voting locations click here.
